Who we are

This website, searchinprogress.app, is run by Lesser Innovations, which makes SIP (Search in Progress). You can contact us at contact@searchinprogress.app.

What we collect on this website

If you send us the request form, we receive the name, agency or unit, email address and message you enter. We use them only to reply about a trial, demonstration or quotation, and we do not sell or share them. WordPress.com, which hosts this site, processes the form, checks it for spam and delivers it to our inbox.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and WordPress.com’s visitor statistics to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are read. These services set cookies (such as _ga) and collect information about your browser, device and visit. Google processes that information under its own privacy policy. We see summary statistics, not who you are.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works without them.

The customer portal

The customer portal at portal.searchinprogress.app uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to protect its forms. It holds the details you give it — your name, work email and agency, and the codes of the devices you licence — to provide and administer your licences.

The SIP app

SIP keeps the searches, exhibits and photographs you record on your own devices. It does not send them to us.
